Drug and Alcohol Evaluations

A drug and alcohol evaluation is a way to get a full Bio/Psycho/Social report on someone that may be having issues with alcohol, drugs, the courts, DCFS, or other situations. It is a chance for the person to tell their story and have it heard by whatever agency or situation they are in.

By the end of the evaluation, that usually lasts around two hours; the client will be made aware of their DSM5 Diagnosis and recommendations for treatment that will be given to the requesting party. It is a tool to help the people involved get a more in depth understanding of the client’s life history and the tools that are being recommended to give this person the resources needed to improve the quality of their life as a whole.
