- June 1982 formed as Douglas County to Prevent Family Abuse
- November 1982 began crisis call line services 24 hours/day
- January 1983 began services to Stateline and the lake
Fundraising History 1984-1986
- August 1986 began providing safe homes through local residents who opened their homes (Now Pat’s Place)
- September 1987 started serving families in the first family preservation program in Nevada
- September 1987 changed the name to Family Support Council
- December 1989 FSC started CASA in Douglas County to support children with court interaction
- 1990 began Parents and Children Together program
