Do you have an unwanted vehicle? As an alternative to the hassle of selling your vehicle, trading it in, or having it take up space in your garage or driveway, donate it to a great cause!

You can get rid of a vehicle in an easy and hassle-free way. Car donation is a great alternative to selling or trading in a vehicle, and your car donation contributes to the community since your vehicle will be used to help people in need locally!

 

The Family Support Council serves families in many ways. Below, you’ll find the list of items in need, along with an approximate cost.

Infant and Toddler:

  • Supervised Visitation Scholarships – $3500
    • Provides 100 hours of visitation time with non-custodial parents who are low/no income.
  • Food – $175/shelter each individual per 90 day stay
  • Play area renovations at Women/Children Shelter – $2000
  • Play area renovations at Main Facility – $10000
  • Child Care during work transition for shelter children – $850/month per child



Youth 3-14:

  • Therapy services for victims of domestic/sexual abuse $60/hr
  • Supervised Visitation Scholarships – $3500
    • Provides 100 hours of visitation time with non-custodial parents who are low/no income.
  • Living accommodations renovation at Women/Children Shelter – $4000
    • Provides bunk-beds & mattresses
    • Provides Play equipment and Study area materials
  • Play area renovations at Main Facility $4000
  • After School Program -$18000
    • Provides 6 children a school year long after-school program from 3pm to 5pm
  • School Sports Scholarships – $100/season/child
  • Food – $175/shelter each individual per 90 day stay
  • Child Care during work transition for shelter children – $850/month per child
  • Computer Camp – $2000
    • Provides 10 children a month-long training program to teach computer skills used in school.



Youth 15-18:

  • Therapy services for victims of domestic/sexual abuse $60/hr
  • Job Training – $2500
    • Provides 1 child a vocational training program to provide employment and placement services.
  • Supervised Visitation Scholarships – $350
    • Provides 10 hours of visitation time with non-custodial parents who are low/no income.
  • Food – $175/shelter each individual per 90 day stay
  • Living accommodations renovation at Women/Children Shelter -$4000
    • Provides bunk-beds & mattresses
    • Provides Study area materials



Adult 18+:

  • Therapy services for victims of domestic/sexual abuse $60/hr
  • Job Training – $3500
    • Provides a vocational training program to provide employment and placement services.
  • Living accommodations renovation at Women/Children Shelter -$2000
    • Provides beds & mattresses
  • Computers for shelter use – $650 each
  • Food – $175/shelter each individual per 90 day stay
