Case Manager-Family Violence
The Case Manager provides direct services to individuals who may be victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, stalking and harassment or a child witness to domestic violence. Services include crisis intervention, advocacy-based peer/options counseling, safety planning, transportation, referrals, shelter needs & goal setting meetings, and planning & implementation of age-appropriate activities for children designed to improve conflict resolution skills and increase knowledge of healthy relationships.
Job Description
Part-Time Position (up to 29 hours/week)
Reports to Family Services Program Director
Starting Hourly Wage $12-$14
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct shelter resident intakes and orientations to services, expectations, and shelter culture.
Provide emotional support, safety and goal planning to victims.
Work closely with Program Directors on individuals served, screening, and placement.
Assist in transporting shelter residents as needed.
Qualifications
High school Diploma/GED required.
Competency in Google based systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) preferred.
40 hours of Victims Assistance Training (VAT) within 30 days of employment
