Tara Addeo
President, Serving Since 2015

Tara is a 30 year resident of the Carson Valley and raised three daughters here with her husband of 43 years, Ed. They also have two granddaughters aged 15 and 2 years old. She’s immeasurably connected to this valley and shows her support of its resident in many ways. In addition to serving as FSC Board President, she’s the board chair for Carson Valley Medical Center Foundation, former president of Families for Effective Autism Treatment, and former president of Main Street Gardnerville. Our organization is so fortunate to have such a passionate and committed woman at the helm.

Brittany Johansen
Vice President, Serving Since 2020

With over a decade of demonstrable success leading mission driven teams for nonprofit organizations, Brittany brings to the board competency serving diverse populations, efficacy in programming, and effective strategies for inspiring direct service teams. Raised here in the Carson Valley, Brittany joined FSC to give back to the community she grew up in. She has become a true champion of the individuals serving our worthwhile mission.

Gina Zink
Secretary, Serving Since 2017

Gina is the director of the outpatient clinic division at Carson Valley Medical Center and oversees primary care practices in the Carson Valley along with CVMC specialty clinic services. Since CVMC provides care to patients regardless of their insurance status, Gina is no stranger to service. Not only does she coordinate needed medical connections for clients of FSC, but she’s been passionately serving the board since 2017.

Doug Ritchie
Serving since 2019

Doug is a native Nevadan and has raised his five children in the Carson Valley with his wife Marleen. He serves as the Chief Civil Deputy District Attorney for Douglas County and has a background in finance. Doug is an Eagle Scout and life-long Scouter, having recently served as the Assistant Council Commissioner for the Nevada Area Council. He and his wife have also coached youth basketball, volleyball, flag football and are deeply committed to the success of our youth. Doug and his wife are the parents of an adult son who has been diagnosed with autism and is non-verbal. Doug is therefore dedicated to the mission of FSC and the Jessie's Ranch program.

Melissa Blosser
Serving since 2019

As an Autism Mom, and a domestic violence survivor, she joined the board to serve the community and create awareness for those with developmental disabilities and domestic violence survivors. Melissa brings to the board professional experience in communication, publicity, fundraising, and marketing. We are inspired by her story of strength and resilience and appreciate all that she contributes to our board.

Nadine Jenkins
Serving Since 2023

Nadine enjoys living in Douglas County with her husband, Eric, who also works for DCSO, and their two children. Nadine has been an Investigator with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office since 2009 and has worked a variety of assignments in the division. Nadine specializes in crimes against children and is a Nationally Certified Child Forensic Interviewer. She has a true passion for helping victims of crime in Douglas County and will continue to do so as she advocates as a member on our Volunteer Board.

Andrea Pawling
Serving Since 2023

Andrea grew up in Nevada and has been a Douglas County resident for over 21 years. She has worked in the Justice Management field for over 22 years, with over 20 of those years working with youth and their families. She brings a variety of experience, having worked in different roles within Juvenile Justice and Correctional settings. Andrea has a Master’s Degree in Justice Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, minor in Counseling and Educational Psychology, from the University of Nevada, Reno. Since 2022, Andrea has been the Deputy Director of the Douglas County Community Development Department. She joined the board because the work FSC does is critical for Douglas County and holds a personal place in her heart. We are beyond grateful for Andrea’s passionate heart and desire to serve.
